Egypt’s market gains LE1.6 billion on Tuesday, EGX30 rises 0.7%

Egypt's market closed in the green zone on Tuesday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 0.68 percent, recording 8,083.18 points and a turnover of LE471.6 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index inched up 0.22 percent and 0.43 percent, respectively.  
 
Local and foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE7.8 million and LE9.01 million, respectively, while Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE7.8 million.
 
The EGX market capital gains LE1.55 billion (US$199 million), hitting LE491.75 billion, compared to LE490.20 billion on Monday.
