Very hot weather to continue throughout Sunday

Meteorologists expect very hot weather to continue on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast and at night.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning in Lower Egypt, Cairo, the Suez Canal cities and along the north coast.

Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated in the north, possibly accompanied by rainfall in some areas of South Sinai.

Winds are expected to be mostly northeasterly and moderate in strength. It might be active in the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeasterly surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 39C in Cairo and 34C in Alexandria, 43C in Qena, 43C in Luxor, and 44C in Aswan.
