Hot weather expected for 2nd day of Ramadan, Sunday

Meteorologists expect mild weather on Sunday, the second day of Ramadan, along the north coast. Hot weather will prevail in Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt. It will be very hot in southern Egypt, especially during the day, turning mild at night.

Low and medium level clouds will appear in the northern parts, accompanied by scattered rainfall on the western parts. Mist will affect visibility in the morning along the northern coast, Lower Egypt, Cairo, and Suez Canal cities.

Wind will be mostly southwesterly and moderate in strength and mostly active in western parts, Lower Egypt and Cairo.

Waves in the Red and Mediterranean seas will range between 1.5 to 2 meters high. Surface wind in the Mediterranean and Red Sea will be northwesterly.

Maximum temperatures predicted for Sunday are in Cairo: 35C, in Alexandria: 29C, in Ismailia: 36C, in Luxor: 41C and in Aswan: 42C.
