Very hot weather predicted for Friday

Meteorologists expect very hot weather to prevail on Friday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast and at night.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.

Low and medium-level clouds are anticipated in the north on Friday, possibly accompanied by rainfall in central and South Sinai. Winds are expected to be mostly northwesterly and moderate. It will be active in the Gulf of Suez and along the north coast.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeasterly surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to high and range between 2 to 2.5 meters in height, with northwesterly surface winds.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows; 38C in Cairo and 30C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.
