At least 128 injured in Kafr al-Sheikh clashes

At least 82 protesters and 46 security personnel were injured in the Delta city of Kafr al-Sheikh during clashes that continued overnight from Monday into Tuesday morning.

Two officers and 14 recruits were wounded by stones, while another 30 other recruits and the protesters suffered breathing problems from heavy tear gas.

Security sources also said that a police vehicle was set ablaze after protesters threw Molotovs at it, and that six protesters had been arrested.
