Meteorologists warn of hot weather on Sunday

Meteorologists expect very hot weather on Sunday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the highest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing milder by night.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are; 39C in Cairo and 32C in Alexandria, 40C in Qena, 41C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.

Low-level clouds are to be expected as well in the north.

Winds are predicted to be mostly northwestern and moderate in strength.

Waves in the Mediterranean and Red seas will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds in both seas.
