Air-conditioned minibuses to serve Heliopolis metro passengers

Cairo Governor Galal Saeed said at the inauguration of the second stage of the third metro line that serves Heliopolis and Nasr City that four lines of smart air-conditioned minibuses will transport passengers to the nearest stations.

The first line will serve the Fifth District – Makram Ebeid – the Girls College stations, the second serves the Zahraa Nasr City – Abbas al-Akkad – Youssef Abbas stations, the third serves the Heliopolis – Hegaz Square – Girls College stations and the fourth serves the Heliopolis – Abbasseya – Abdel Moneim Riad stations.
 
This also came during a celebration of a new batch of 60 public transport buses that cost LE84 million, which is the batch before last of a total 200 buses costing LE227 million.
 
Also, 26 new smart minibuses started operation within a to plan to replace 125 minibuses in 2014 after six years of service.
