Bastawisi returns to bench in Kuwait after losing presidential race

Hesham al-Bastawisi will return to Kuwait to work as a judge after not proceeding to the second round of the presidential election. 

He had applied for a four-month vacation to run and finished in ninth place.

“I tried to form a front that would achieve the goals of the revolution,” he said, calling on the other candidates to unite and restore confidence to the people.
