The official site of presidential hopeful Hazem Salah Abu Ismail was hacked Friday, campaign member Ziad Mujahid said.  Hackers deleted the candidate's electoral program, his resume, and statements and views of his supporters, he said.

Mujahid said that hacking was another attack in "the ferocious war," which Abu Ismail's enemies are waging against him to prevent him from running for president.

The hacking took place as Abu Ismail's supporters demonstrated in front of the headquarters of the High Judicial Elections Commission  in Heliopolis, forcing the Supreme Elections to suspend its work and leave the headquarters.
