Mubarak sons trial over stock exchange manipulation adjourned to 18 September

Cairo Criminal Court adjourned on Thursday the trial of the two sons of former President Hosni Mubarak, Gamal and Alaa, and seven businessmen in the case known in the Egyptian media as the “stock exchange manipulation," to 18 September 2014.
 
The defendants are tried over irregularities relating to the sale of the National Bank of Egypt.
 
The court will continue listening to the prosecution witnesses on 18 September.
 
The defendants are accused of insider trading to make illegal gains from the 2007 sale of the National Bank of Egypt.
