Three ancient tombs discovered in Luxor

Antiquities Minister Mamdouh al-Damaty has announced the discovery of three new ancient tombs in Deir al-Madina and Kings Valley, on the western bank in Luxor.

During his visit to the province on Saturday to check the Deir al-Madina and Kings Valley illumination project, Damaty said Luxor has the greatest antiquities in the world and that new discoveries are made every day. He added that the newly-discovered tombs will be checked by experts and included on a list of sites tourists can visit.
