Security forces in Cairo have intensified their presence ahead of a protest in front of Prosecutor General Talaat Abdallah's office scheduled to take place Monday.
Prosecutors' offices in Cairo and throughout the governorates have joined the Judges Club in calling for protests against Abdallah's alleged interference with investigations into the clashes in front of Ettehadiya Palace. Members of prosecutors' offices distributed statements calling on their fellow members to gather in front of Abdallah's office and demand his dismissal.
