US dollar continues decline at NBE

The US dollar exchange rate continued its decline at the National Bank of Egypt by 53 piasters on Monday. It registered LE16.85 for purchasing and LE16.9 for selling, compared to

LE17.38 for purchasing and LE17.43 for selling on Monday, according to Al-Borsa website.

The NBE said on its website that the Euro purchase rate is LE17.84 and the selling rate LE17.95, while the British pound reached LE21.09 for selling and LE21.20.for purchasing.

For Arab currencies, the Saudi riyal could be purchased for LE4.49, and sold at LE4.5. The Kuwaiti dinar registers LE55.17 for selling and LE55.34 for purchasing.

Exchange rates are unstable in accordance with supply and demand since the Central Bank of Egypt floated the Egyptian pound in November.
