Sat, 25/08/2012 - 17:42

Dozens of citizens are staging a sit-in in front of the presidential palace following a protest organized on 24 August.  The protest, coordinated by former MP Mohamed Abou Hamed, demanded the Muslim Brotherhood be disbanded and its funding sources investigated. Some protesters said the Brotherhood's hegemony over power in Egypt belies the plurality of Egyptian society, while others demanded that President Mohamed Morsy set a minimum wage.Sit-in in front of the presidential palace.
