Nour Party spokesperson rejects assault on US Embassy

Nader Bakkar, official spokesperson of the Salafi Nour Party, said he rejects protesters' removal of the US flag and assault on the embassy Tuesday. He added that embassy grounds are considered US territory and should not be encroached upon.

Bakkar himself participated in the rally that was staged in front of the embassy in Garden City, Cairo to protest a film produced in the US which they said insults Prophet Mohamed.
