Washington calls for fair elections in Egypt

Tamara Wittes, deputy assistant secretary for Near Eastern affairs at US State Department, visits Cairo ahead of Egypt's 2010 parliamentary elections and stresses upcoming elections must be fair and free, especially that it percedes a number of elections that will determine the future of Egypt. Wittes said Washington continues to monitor Naga Hammadi and religious freedom cases in Egypt
