النواب يوجهون انتقادات حادة للمسؤولين أثناء انعقاد اجتماع لجنة الزراعة بمجلس الشعب في اكتوبر ٢٠٠٩ برئاسة عبد الرحيم الغول. الدكتور إبراهيم الزنوني يرفع برطمان عينة مياه صرف صحي تستخدم في ري الأراضي الزراعية. وصلت الانتقادات إلى حد المطالبة بإعدام "مرتكبى الجريمة".
