Smashed guard booth, al-Qasr al-Einy street, Cairo, 25 January, 2011. Tens of thousands of Egyptians continued nationwide protests for the second day in a row in an unprecedented protest wave. Protests were planned to coincide with Police Day, now widely known as Day of Anger, against deteriorated situations on different levels like torture, poverty, corruption, unemployment as well as calls for canceling emergency case, raising minimum wages and dismissal of current government. Bloody clashes erupted among protesters and riot police who tried to disperse them by using tear gas bombs, water hoses. Many were arrested
