Scores of protesters rallied against Mr. Ahmed Abul Gheit, Egypt Foreign Minister, over his incompetence to handle humanitarian crisis of Egyptians fleeing violence in Libya, now stranded on Libya-Tunisia border. According to protesters - who demonstrated against Abul Gheit during an opening session of Arab Foreign Ministers Meeting at Arab League - consider Abul Gheit a Mubarak loyalist and an icon of fallen regime, given his anti-revolution statements during 18-day protests nationwide that led to President Hosni Mubarak's eventual ouster. Earlier Thursday, March 3, Mr. Ahmed Shafiq, Egypt PM, announced his resignation, only prompting Armed Forces Supreme Council - now running Egypt - to appoint in his stead Mr. Essam Sharaf who has been charged with forming a new government.
