Once you hear Hassaballah's name, you remember actor Abdel Salam al-Naboulsi in iconic Sharea al-Hob (Street of Love) as he chants: "I'm Hassaballah XVI". Hassaballah is a pop art band which has made a comeback. Hassaballah has recently participated in El Fann Midan (Art Square) Festival. Hassaballah was founded in 1860 by a policeman Hassaballa. Hassaballahis most known band on iconic Mohamed Ali Street. Recently, Hassaballah has been sidelined after major, stellar performances back in Khedive Abbas days, playing, mainly, for 'high society'.
