On July 23rd Revolution 59th anniversary, few feets away from Egypt's Ministry of Defence, Abbasiya neighborhood was a witness to bloody confrontations between armed civilians and hundreds of protesters, marching peacefully from Tahrir Square to Abbasiya Square where ruling Armed Forces Supreme Council is based. Security forces blocked street, throwing tear gas at protesters. Meanwhile, military police, mounting and around armoured vehicles, blocked protesters' march, setting up barbed wire all along. As feelings heated up, armed unknowns - located around Abbasiya area on side streets and atop buildings - started throwing stones, molotovs at protesters, closing in on a group of protesters inside al-Nour Mosque whose surrounding area became a makeshift hospital.

There was no way out. Scores fell injured, one after another - recalling a not-so-far memory of Camel Battle, one in which protesters clashed with Mubarak's regime's thugs.
