A girl taking part in a protest by dozens of the Thanaweyya Amma (High school) students, Higher Education Ministry, Cairo, 3 October, 2011. Students call for being transferred to other universities different from those selected by the admission offices. Clashes erupted among security personnel, ministry employees and the students. The ministry's security tried to disperse the students using water hoses and stones. Central Security forces cordoned the ministry and closed the main gate to end clashes.
