Gazans prepare to welcome released prisoners

Preparations are being made at Katiba Square in Gaza City to receive 131 Palestinian prisoners who were freed as part of the prisoner exchange deal with Israel on Tuesday night. A 700 meter high platform to accommodate around 200 people was built, from which a representative for the released prisoners is expected to give a speech to the Palestinian people. The festivities will include a display of paintings as well as a number of songs to greet the prisoners.
