She was born a boy called Islam 22 years ago. However, since elementary school she started to feel more like a girl. Her quest for her gender identity has been an odyssey into Egyptian Medical Syndicate and medical analysis labs until she landed on a surgeon in Upper Egypt who did a Sex Reassignment Surgery (SRS) for her - only that her operation is unregistered. Nour, as she is now called, complains her operation is unsuccessful and is still in quest for her gender identity.
