Al-Masry Al-Youm interviewed Tunisian rapper Hamada Ben Amor, also known as Al-General, whose rap song “Head of State” helped spark the Tunisian revolution and led to his arrest by ousted Tunisian President Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali’s regime. “The General” discussed how he received his nickname and how he became the Tunisian revolution’s rap artist.
