A picture taken on August 4, 2010, at the Arianespace launch site in Kourou, French Guiana shows the launch of an Ariane 5 rocket. It will place in orbit two satellites: NILESAT 201, an Egyptian satellite built from a platform TAS Spacebus 4000 B2 stabilized 3 axes. This satellite will be dedicated to the direct television program for North Africa, the Middle East and in the Gulf zone, and RASCOM-QAF 1R, a telecommunication service satellite built from a platform TAS Spacebus 4000 B3 stabilized 3 axes for RascomStar-QAF. It will cover the rural African zones and its major objectives will be to allow the reduction of the digital divide and the isolation of the African countries.
