'To Gaza' stops in Egypt

After one year on the war on Gaza the siege continues to pressure the strip into worsening health and economic conditions. More than 1000 activists from 42 countries came to Egypt in the "To Gaza" march to enter Gaza through its Rafah southern border. Activists aiming to break the siege and bring humanitarian aid to Gaza were met by refusal from the Egyptian authorities. In protest, they staged sit-in in front of their respective embassies besides colorful protests in the streets of Cairo and Giza.
