Civil parties choose Constituent Assembly representatives

During a closed-door meeting at the Wafd Party headquarters on the evening of Saturday, 9 June 2012, civil and liberal parties came to an agreement over the representatives they would nominate to the Constituent Assembly. By the end of the meeting, a list of the proposed members had been drawn up, which included Copts, women and revolutionary youths.
