The State Council Administrative Court on Tuesday ruled against the Justice Ministry-issued decree granting military police and intelligence the right to arrest civilians. The ruling was issued after a series of lawsuits were filed by human rights activists and politicians against the decree, which was issued on 13 June, saying it was a clear violation of the Code of Criminal Procedure, as well as the Military Justice Law.
