Rainfall predicted in Upper Egypt on Tuesday

The Egyptian Metrological Authority (EMA) expects moderate weather on Tuesday across Egypt’s northern coasts while warm weather is predicted across other parts during daylight hours and very cold temperatures are expected through the night.

Mist will affect visibility during morning hours on the country’s northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and Suez Canal.

Low and medium level cloud cover is predicted for the north, accompanied by rainfall in the North of Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Winds will mostly be northwesterly and light to moderate in most areas.

Waves in the Mediterranean sea will be light and range between 1 to 1.5 meters high with northwesterly surface winds, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters with northwesterly surface winds.

Maximum temperatures predicted for the following cities are as follows: 23C in Cairo, 21C in Alexandria, 24C in Qena, 24C in Luxor, and 27C in Aswan.
