«أعوان النظام». «بلطجية». «مستفيدون». «كلاب النظام». ترددت عبارات كهذي - ولاتزال - في الشارع المصري عند رؤية تظاهرة يحمل أفرادها لافتات مؤيدة للرئيس المصري. لم يخلو الأمر من تلاسنات واشتباكات بين جموع غاضبة، ثائرة ضد مبارك ونظام الحكم في البلاد وبين تظاهرات أتت مؤيدة له.
يأتي هذا المشهد الاستثنائي على الساحة السياسية المصرية على خلفية الاحتجاجات الشعبية غير المسبوقة في القاهرة وغيرها من المحافظات ضد الرئيس حسني مبارك وضد نظام الحكم في البلاد الذي - وفق المحتجين - عانت البلاد في ظله الفقر، والبطالة، والفساد.
كانت أبرز تطورات العملية السياسية في مصر إلقاء الرئيس حسني مبارك بيانا الثلاثاء، 1 فبراير، معلنا فيه عدم ترشحه لفترة رئاسية جديدة وتأكيده على التزامه بتعهداته السابقة التي أعلنها في بيان سابق له خلال الاحتجاجات وعلى لسان نائبه اللواء عمر سليمان.
من اللافت، عدم وجود رؤية واضحة - بعد - للقوى السياسية أو للمحتجين - الذين لا يزالون يواصلون احتجاجاتهم في كافة أنحاء البلاد - خاصة مع الإصرار على رحيل مبارك، دون الاتفاق على صيغة دستورية تحفظ استقرار البلاد «إذا ما رحل مبارك «الآن»، كما يطالب المحتجون والقوى السياسية، وهو الأمر الذي قد يؤدي إلى فراغ في السلطة تنزلق معه البلاد إلى حالة من الفوضى، فضلا عن مزيد من التدهور للوضع الاقتصادي لمصر التي لاتزال مؤسسات التصنيف الائتماني تخفض من تصنيفها في الأمدين العاجل والطويل، في خطوة ربما لا تتكرر على هذا النحو من جانب مؤسسات دولية إلا في حالات استثنائية كالحروب والقلاقل الاجتماعية الشديدة.
