A demonstration organized by a number of political movements in front of the Public Prosecutor's office to protest the arrest of  120 people during the violent clashes that erupted between Coptic Christians and riot police over the construction of the Church of the Archangel and the Virgin in al-Omranya, Giza, 25 November, 2010.  The protestors carried banners bearing the phrase: "Long live the Crescent with the Cross", "No to preventing the establishment of places of worship", and "I am a Muslim and I refuse the persecution of Copts and Muslims by police officers". Central Security forces surrounded the protestors to prevent them from accessing the street and blocking traffic.
