Bishop Bishoy - Secretray of Holy Synod and 'Second Man' in Coptic Orthodox Church - has stirred faith-based and non-faith based organizations and Establishments against his provocative remarks about authenticity of Quranic verses, which he denied to apologize about, only to prompt Pope Shenouda III's public apology.  The protest called for Bishop Bishoy's dismissal. According to Ramzy, Bishop Bishoy has always been a source of divisions among Copts and Muslims alike.
