The Daal Cinema Club is screening on Wednesday the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed American film “The Master”.
The film, starring Joaquin Phoenix, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Amy Adams, is set in post-World War II society. Freddie, a naval veteran, returns home after the war psychologically disturbed and unable to cope with society. He indulges in alcohol and sex.
