Doctors Syndicate sends fourth aid convoy to Libya

Egypt's Doctors Syndicate said today it will dispatch another medical convoy to Libya.

A statement issued by the syndicate's humanitarian relief committee said it will be the fourth medical aid convoy to be sent to Libya. A third arrived there on Sunday.

Mostafa al-Zoghbi, the committee's director, said the convoy will include ten physicians from different specializations and head for Benghazi in eastern Libya through the Salloum border.

The convoy has milk for children, medication, food, respiratory equipment and kidney dialysis solutions. The total value of the aid is LE1 million.

It is financed through donations from Egyptians, not from the syndicate's funds, the statement said.
