Egypt’s foreign policy is more flexible to address challenges – Foreign Ministry spox.

CAIRO, Feb 20 (MENA) – Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abo Zeid has said that Egypt’s foreign policy enjoys a great amount of flexibility to be able to handle all the challenges and rapid developments that are taking place on the world stage.

Abo Zeid’s remarks came on Tuesday at a roundtable meeting of the annual conference of the Faculty of Economics and Political Science on challenges and hopes of Egypt’s foreign policy in the presence of former foreign minister Mohamed al-Oraby, Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt Anne Schouw and a host of respective officials.

The spokesman shed light on the development, social and economic characteristics of the Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS): Egypt Vision 2030, noting that the vision is based on strengthening the stability of the state, defending national security and serving the interests of Egyptian citizens.

Abo Zeid lauded Egypt’s wise policy on dealing with different regional and international developments and serious issues, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. (MENA)
