
Film director Raafat al-Mihi died on Friday evening at the Maadi Military Hospital. He was 74 years old.
He was born in 1940, graduated from the Faculty of Arts and obtained a diploma from the Film Institute in 1964.
He began his career as a scriptwriter, co-directed with Kamal al-Sheikh in the seventies and worked on his own films as of 1981.
He directed and produced his last film “So That God Loves You” in 2001, after which he established a film academy.
