Meteorologists warn against slight rise in temperatures across Egypt

Meteorologists warned of a slight rise in weather temperatures during the next 72 hours, starting from Wednesday, until next Friday.

The maximum temperature on Wednesday in Cairo recorded 24C and a moderate, warm autumnal atmosphere prevailed in all parts, while in Alexandria it recorded 23C and in South Sinai 27C.

In governorates of southern Upper Egypt (Luxor, Aswan, Qena) it recorded 28C, and in northern Upper Egypt (Minya, Fayoum, Beni Suef and Sohag) it recorded 25C.

Meteorologists warned of cold weather during the night and early morning hours.

 

Calm wind speeds

Meteorological satellites monitored calm wind speeds and variable direction almost everywhere.

The weather maps indicated the effect of cloud cover on the south of the country, showing chances of light rain falling in the cities of Halayeb and Shalateen.
