Five people drowned in Beni Suef Governorate on Tuesday, after a microbus fell from a Nile Ferry, in the village of al-Haiba, south of the governorate.
The security services in Beni Suef were notified by the rescue police operations room that a microbus had fallen from the Nile Ferry, which led to the death of five people including three children.
River rescue forces recovered the bodies of the deceased and transported them by ambulances to al-Fashn Central Hospital.
Administrative and legal measures are being taken, the necessary case is being filed, and the Public Prosecution has been notified in preparation for issuing the necessary burial permits.
