Meteorologists expect dusty winds to hit most parts of the country on Thursday, affecting horizontal visibility and possibly disrupting navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, even creating dust storms in some areas.
Low- and medium-level clouds are predicted in the north accompanied by rainfall along the North Coast, and the Sinai peninsula. The rain might extend to Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the north of Upper Egypt.
Temperatures will be moderate across most of Egypt during the day, to be colder at night.
Waves in the Mediterranean are expected to be very tough and range between 4 to 5 meters in hight. In the Red Sea, waves will be mild to tough and range between 2 to 2.5 meters high, with northwesterly surface winds on both seas.
Maximum temperatures expected for Thursday is 20C in Cairo, 19C in Alexandria, 21C in Qena, 22C in Luxor and 23C in Aswan.
