Suez Canal Authority Chairman Osama Rabie asserted that navigation at the Suez Canal was not affected by the breakdown of the container ship “ONE ORPHEUS”.
In a statement on Wednesday 6/12/2023, Rabie said that four tugboats were sent to complete the process of towing the container ship which suffered a glitch in the steering wheel.
The ship was heading from Singapore to Netherlands as part of the north-bound convoy.
