The total number of votes in the second phase of the House of Representatives elections abroad amounted to 37,168 votes with an increase of 22 percent, compared to the first phase of elections, Deputy Foreign Minister Hamdy Loza said on Monday.
The first round of the second phase of elections was held on Saturday and Sunday in 139 Egyptian consulates and embassies.
The High Elections Commission will announce the results of the second phase.
The second phase of elections in Egypt is being held in 13 governorates on Sunday and Monday. The number of eligible voters in the second phase is 28,204,225.
