President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi signed Law No. 18 of 2024, amending some provisions of the Unified Public Finance Law.
The amendments include the full implementation of the program and performance budget within a maximum period of six years from the date of implementation of the provisions of this law.
They also include the development of functional and administrative structures and implementation components for the entities subject to the provisions of this law and the accompanying law to the extent that they are able to enforce this system and control its tools and outputs.
The law was published in the Official Gazette.
