Sources said that the inauguration of Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as the new president will be on Sunday evening at the Al-Qubba presidential palace.
Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Hamdeen Sabbahi ran in the presidential elections in which there were 53,909,306 eligible voters.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Badr Abdel Aaty said on Monday that Interim President Adly Mansour invited kings and heads of state and international organizations to attend the inauguration ceremony.
Preliminary election results have showed that Sisi won the elections by a sweeping majority.
Chancellor Abdel Aziz Salman, secretary general of the High Elections Committee, said the final result would be announced on 3 June at 7am.
