A bomb exploded on Tuesday under a car in the district of Faisal in Giza, injuring three.
The blast took place under the car of Islam Fawzy Abdel Hafiz, 25, who lives in Faisal, while his friend Ahmed Ismail Abdel Mohsen, 23, an engineering student, was in this passenger seat.
Both were injured, as well as another who was passing by the car when the blast took place. All were transferred to hospital for treatment.
Explosives expert combed the area looking for other explosives, while security forces intensified efforts to arrest the assailants.
