On Thursday, the US dollar recorded LE15.64 for purchase and LE15.74 for sale at Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt.
At the Commercial International Bank, it recorded LE15.66 for purchase and LE15.76 for sale.
And at the Central Bank of Egypt, it recorded LE15.64 for purchase, and LE15.77 for sale.
Egypt devalued its currency by 48 percent in 2016, allowing it to float freely in order to meet a key demand by the International Monetary Fund to secure a three-year US$12 billion loan.
