Egypt’s market loses LE10 billion on Wednesday, EGX30 falls 1.8 %

Egypt's market main index EGX30 dropped by 1.80 percent on Wednesday's session to record 9,198.46 points with a total turnover of LE588 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

Meanwhile, the broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index declined by 3.24 percent and 2.25 percent respectively.

Foreign and Arab institutions were buying activities that recorded a net flow of LE65.98 million and LE5.1 million respectively, while Local institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE769.2.

EGX market capital lost LE10 billion (US$1.31 billion) to hit LE503.65 billion compared to LE513.64 billion on Tuesday.
