Egypt’s market loses LE9.3 bn in a week, EGX30 index drops 3.5%

Egypt's stock market has witnessed losses of LE9.3 billion (US$1.2 billion) this week, as all indexes dropped, Egyptian Exchange data showed.

The main EGX30 index, small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index plunged 3.52 percent, 3.23 percent and 2.77 percent, respectively.

EGX market capital lost LE9.32 billion, to hit LE4441.06 billion, compared to LE450.38 billion last week.
