Due to overwhelming public demand and a series of sold-out performances, the National Theater has announced a revised schedule for its production of Shakespeare’s King Lear.
The production, which has garnered widespread critical acclaim since its opening, features a masterful performance by legendary actor Yehia al-Fakharany.
Under the directorial vision of Shady Sorour, the play has revitalized the historic stage at El-Attaba, drawing significant crowds and vibrant audience engagement.
In addition to the commanding presence of al-Fakharany, the play features a distinguished ensemble cast. The lineup brings together a host of seasoned performers, including Tarek El-Desouky, Eman Ragai, Amal Abdullah, and Hassan Youssef, alongside Ahmed El-Nasser, Islam Abbas, Diaa Shafik, Hamdi Attia, Mohamed El-Azaizi, and Adel Khalaf.
