Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” (2026) surpassed the one billion dollar mark in just three weeks since its release.
The film grossed $ 429.65 million domestically and $ 578.8 million internationally, bringing its total earnings to $1.008 billion.
The Odyssey is Nolan’s first film to cross the billion-dollar threshold since “The Dark Knight Rises” in 2012, which earned $ 1.08 billion.
“The Dark Knight”, released in 2008, also grossed $ 1.008 billion.
The Odyssey is expected to become Nolan’s highest-grossing film in the coming days, surpassing the earnings of both The Dark Knight Rises and The Dark Knight.

The film surpassed the billion-dollar mark before its release in China, the world’s second-largest film market, where it is scheduled to premiere on August 14.
